The mystery in a nutshell is just this: Christ is in you, so therefore you can look forward to sharing in God’s glory. It’s that simple.

Colossians 1:27

Yesterday we were reminded that God is at work in us. Today the message is the same: Christ is IN us! When we believe who Jesus is and what He did on the cross for us and offer our life to Him He comes to live in us. He is more than a belief we hold or a topic to be discussed. The resurrected Christ is alive in you and me!

Another great verse in Colossians encourages us to “Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts.(3:16).

So now it’s your turn. For a couple of weeks I’ve had the privilege to share my heart and the Truth that anchors my life in Christ. What Truth anchors you? Please leave a comment below with a testimony or a verse or a song that reveals how Christ is at work in your life.

I can’t wait to read and be encouraged!

  1. Romans 12: 1-2 gives me both purpose and encouragement for each day. I can do no other than to daily offer my life to Him, for His purpose and for His glory, all because of His great love for me. I cannot walk by faith without His mercy and grace.

  2. My “fall-back” verses of scripture remain Matthew 6:25-34. Whenever I start to worry or wonder if God really cares about me (or anyone else for that matter), all I have to do go to those verses.
