And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.  Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.” Philippians 4:6-8

More About Me

Eric and I have been happily married for 38 years, have three happily married children, and are Pawpaw and Mimi to one grandson. We love spending time with our family and taking road trips.

In 2013, we started a private counseling/coaching practice and enjoy working together. He’s a licensed counselor (LCSW) as well as a chaplain at our local hospital.

I have a doctorate (Ed.D) from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and I’m a certified life coach.

A few years ago, I wrote a book about navigating life’s difficult seasons of marriage, parenting, homeschooling, ministry, family life, and grief to remind readers that God is near. It’s a testimony of God’s faithfulness through stories about life as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. These stories remind us that: We are not alone in feeling overwhelmed and discouraged. God is near to the brokenhearted and weary. The Bible is our spiritual compass to comfort and guide us through every season of life.
