Walk on Water Faith {Day 22}

And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. Hebrews 11:6

Faith pleases God.

I know that yet oftentimes I find that I’m having a hard time seeing.

Sometimes I feel so small.

Sometimes it seems I’ve lost my way. My perspective reminds me of the ones who cried out in the wilderness, “Where am I?” (Ex. 14:10)

Faith pleases God.

But not just faith in faith. Or faith in me.

The faith that pleases God is faith in Him. The belief that He exists and cares enough to respond to those who seek Him.

When I can’t see I must seek Him.

When I feel small I must seek Him.

When I feel lost I must seek Him.

To see God I must seek Him.

Walk on Water Faith pleases God. He desires to be the focus of our attention and affection. Faith in Him means knowing that He is near and my life is in His hands.
