About My Faith
Teaching believers like you how to apply the life-changing truth of God’s Word to your everyday life has been one of my greatest joys.I grew up in a Christian family, was saved at 8 years old, and have been active in the local church throughout my life. While earning a bachelor’s degree in religion, a master’s and doctorate in Christian education, I served in various professional ministry positions. Now I serve here and through our private counseling and coaching practice.

Biblical Mindset
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God” (Romans 12:2).
Changing how you think will change your life! I’ve spent a lifetime studying God’s Word, learning to think biblically, and empowering others to do the same. My goal is to help you think biblically in every season and circumstance of life.

Prayer
Lord, Teach us to pray (luke 11:1)
Prayer is not meditation or passive reflection; it is a conversation with God. It is the communication of the human soul with the Lord who created you. Prayer is the primary way for you to communicate your emotions and desires with God and to fellowship with Him.
Bible Reading
All Scripture is God-breathed (2timothy 3:16)
The Bible is literally God’s very words written to you and the primary way He reveals Himself, his character, and his plan. God’s Word is truth you can trust in every season and circumstance. It shows perfect, timeless principles to guide your thoughts, feelings, and actions in your everyday life. The lifelong habit of reading God’s Word daily has been life-changing for me, and I want to inspire and equip you to make daily Bible reading a vital part of your life, too.
Grief
Jesus Wept (John 11:35)
We can learn how to read, make brownies, and drive a car. But there’s not a definitive set of instructions on how to grieve. Loss is painful. Grieving is healing. I hope to support and encourage you with what I’ve learned through personal experience and years of research.
