Do not be thinking of how little you have to bring God,
but of how much He wants to give you.
He is the giver of all good gifts.
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. James 1:17
In prayer each day, I go to God with what I want and need. He answers and provides in amazing ways. I will continue to let my requests be known to Him.
But today I feel prompted to sit quietly with empty hands, palms up and say:
Father, what do you want to give me?
I wonder, what might God want to give you that you’ve never even considered asking for and in your wildest dreams might not ever imagine receiving?
