Dreading Christmas already? The holidays can be overwhelming but you can have a Merrier Christmas if you’re willing to make a few, simple choices. Expectations, family stress, grief, sickness, and financial issues are just a few of things that can derail your hopes for the holidays. I learned a few things in November—the hard way of course—that are changing how I’m doing December. I hope they help you, too.
A Merrier Christmas
I mentioned in the video that I’m a recovering perfectionist. It’s true! The “old me” would’ve definitely tossed this imperfect version of this video.
- too many “ums”
- getting distracted when I realized my notes that were out of order
- the dog drinking water beside me
Just to name a few!
But I’ve had this message rolling around in my head and on my heart for a few days and I decided to share it, imperfections and all. Thanks for taking the time to listen and read.
Here are the two resources I mentioned:
- 5 Ways You Can Have a Merrier Christmas printable
- Calm My Anxious Heart: A Woman’s Guide to Finding Contentment.(affiliate link)
I’d love to hear from you! Will you leave a comment and share what you do (or don’t do) that helps you have a Merrier Christmas?
Here’s a image to pin.
Thank you Stacy.
Judy, thank you for reading and sharing! Miss you, friend.
