Experts say it takes 21 days to establish a new habit. I think they’re right. Despite some craziness in my life and schedule over the last 21 days I find myself unable to go a day without writing or thinking about #write31Days and the Truth that is shaping and growing my Walk on Water Faith.

I hope the words I’ve written here have refreshed your heart. Life can be  is hard. People and circumstances, wearisome. We need refreshing and nothing refreshes like the love and encouragement of a friend.

We are friends, you and I, with different pasts and present circumstances; but the faith in Christ and love to Him that united the hearts of Paul and Philemon unites our hearts today.

My heart has been refreshed by you:

  • “likes” and comments
  • hallway prayer
  • handwritten note
  • text or phone call
  • words of encouragement

Your love has given me great joy and encouragement, because you, brother, have refreshed the hearts of the Lord’s people. Philemon 1:7

The Nester’s 31 Day Challenge includes a whole community of writers and bloggers who write about one topic for 31 days. You can find lots of refreshment here on topics such as House and Home, Organizing, Fashion and Beauty, and Inspiration and Faith (my category). Go check it out!

Thanks for stopping by today. I probably don’t say that enough. But I really do value your time and attention. My prayer is that you always leave refreshed in the Lord.

I will fully satisfy the needs of those who are weary and fully refresh the souls of those who are faint.

Jeremiah 31:25
