“And I bowed down and worshiped the Lord. I praised the Lord, the God of my master Abraham, who had led me on the right road…” Genesis 24:48a
These were the words of Abraham’s servant spoken to Rebekah’s family as he recounted the faithfulness of God in guiding him to find a wife for Isaac.
These are also the words I can speak as I recount the faithfulness of God in guiding me throughout my life.
Sometimes I see the road—or at least part of it—and wonder is it the way I should go.
I read His Word, pray, and listen for guidance.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not rely on your own understanding;
think about Him in all your ways,
and He will guide you on the right road. Proverbs 3:5-6
I’m choosing to do this today. Will you?
