To say our lives have changed drastically this year would be an understatement. We’ve said good-bye to his father and mine, our first-born married his one true love, Anna graduated high school and has began her college adventure, and we’re teaching our youngest how to drive.

I am tired and tearful at times.

But thankful through it all in the strong arms of Jesus.

And now this.

The one who still calls me “Mommy” is a senior and she wants pictures made in the fall when the leaves are at their peak. Wouldn’t you know the day we had chosen, perhaps our last chance before leaves fade and fall, it rained. All day.

But we would not be discouraged. We can’t thank our friend and photographer, Kevin, enough for his work. He took hundreds of photos but I won’t share them all. When I started I had edited it down to 47 which was still to many for one post! I’ve chosen the ones that take this mommy’s  breath away.

By this time we were all soaked and decided to finish another time. Thankfully, the next shoot was sunny and cool.

She’s a very special girl. Beautiful inside and out. Thank you for taking the time to stop and share this moment with me.

Thanks again to Kevin Anderson. He’s a talented artist and we are blessed to call him “friend”.
