For When You Think You Need Help

She’s just a little girl and she’s having trouble. I ask her if she needs help. She replies, “No, I need Hope.”

Valencia edit 2

You see, Hope is a person, a young woman to be exact. The little girl lives with Hope and her family and they’re traveling companions this week. The little girl is attached to Hope. She trusts her like no one else. When she’s in need she relies on Hope.

Sometimes I think I need help. Sometimes you probably think I need help. What I really need is hope. Like the little girl, I need hope in the form of Hope—the Person—Jesus Christ.

for when you need help

I walk down the hall to find Hope. “She needs you,” I tell her. Hope responds. Hope comes to the little girl’s rescue.

Our Hope does the same.

We are all, always in desperate need. Our hearts and lips cry for help. Help can be good. But help is temporary. Help is limited. Help is tangible.  Help can be bought.

What we really need is hope. Hope always responds. Hope comes to our rescue and gives us the help we need and so much more. Jesus, our Hope, gives us Himself. He is all we need.

Jesus is our only Hope.

Jesus is our only Hope.

Jesus is our only Hope.

Get it?

Jesus is our only Hope.

Got it?

Jesus is our only Hope.

Rejoice in hope. Romans12:12a
